Welcome to the Privacy Policy of “business4extroversion.gr” (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

This Privacy Policy informs you about how we process your personal data as a visitor or user of the open-access electronic platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform” or the “Website”), while also providing information about your rights as a data subject.

2. Purposes for which we process your data

We process your data in accordance with applicable legislation for the following purposes:

• Providing open information and access to/use of tools, generally for businesses and employees regardless of their sector of employment, which operate or are based and/or work in Western Athens.
• Conducting surveys and processing and presenting their results in relation to identifying and assessing the needs of businesses and employees to adapt to changes.
• Using social media to engage, inform and facilitate the exchange of views among employers, executives and employees of businesses, as well as using such data for Internet Analytics.
• Developing, producing and providing methodological and digital content free of charge.
• Providing interactive online information.
• Providing access to tools, such as the Integrated Information System for the Adaptability of Businesses and Employees in Western Athens (ΟΠΣ ΠΕΕΔΑ).
• Providing training and guidance to businesses and the workforce.
• Providing access to libraries, research findings and statistical data necessary for policymaking and decision-making.
• Developing online tools for conducting surveys.
• Creating social capital through information and useful topics, thereby creating significant social capital that can contribute to development prospects.
• Providing automated forms that can guide and support both businesses and human resources.
• The structured use of relevant data from other surveys and data sources, e.g. in cooperation with EIEAD, ELSTAT, OAED, TAXIS, the Integrated Information System of the Ministry of Labour, etc.
• Combining the above through the development of a “Business Intelligence” (B.I.) system and the “on-demand” or standardized formulation of “scenarios” for improving employees’ skills in relation to future developments.
  Developing a “Decision Scenario Support” system (Scenarios Planning Concept/SPC), through which employers and employees will have free access to develop and implement business restructuring scenarios and the corresponding adaptation of employees to such changes.
• Developing information, testing and benchmarking tools for businesses on a range of issues, including, indicatively, human resources engagement, financial and funding matters, internationalization, introduction of innovation (organizational, dynamic, disruptive, etc.), production processes, introduction of new technologies and methods, logistics, etc.
• Providing systematic information on developments in occupations, employee transitions from one job position to another, training and upskilling opportunities, etc.
• Attracting and engaging employers and employees in online activities (problem solving, case studies, queries, etc.).
• Developing, disseminating and continuously improving tools and services for employers and employees, individually and/or in groups, with the aim of raising awareness, encouraging engagement, monitoring and utilizing the results of the Website’s “products” (services, information, games, etc.).
• Developing “challenges” and involving employees in solving them, developing and supporting the operation/guidance of online forums, and fostering and promoting excellence through business networking, indicatively in areas such as internationalization, human resources management and development, specific conditions for safeguarding employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, employee skills self-improvement plans and models, etc.
• Disseminating the operation, information and results of the Website through “Social Media”.
• Measuring reach, evaluating users’ profiles (in terms of browsing, use and utilization of the Website’s tools, information and services) and formulating proposals to improve the Website’s functionality and effectiveness.
• Providing online guidance services (e-HELP DESK) to those who encounter difficulties or problems when using the free applications (tools, games, etc.).
  Organizing workshops, focus groups and annual conferences for information, networking, reporting, awards and dissemination of the results of the Website’s activities.

We will use your data only for the purposes described above. If we need to use your data for another purpose, we will contact you to obtain your consent or explain the legal basis that allows us to do so, unless the further purpose is compatible with the original purpose, in accordance with applicable legislation. In any case, you may contact us for any necessary clarification.

3. Legal basis for processing

We collect and process your data, whether ordinary personal data or special categories of data (e.g. data relating to persons with disabilities), with your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) or Article 9(2)(a), respectively, of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, whenever you use the Platform and your consent is requested.

In certain cases (e.g. updates through RSS feeds and cookies), certain categories of data (see below under “technical data” and “usage data”) are collected pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the same Regulation, as necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests in operating, maintaining the performance of and continuously improving the Platform and the services provided.

4. Categories of data we collect

We process the following categories of data, as applicable:

• Identity Data: includes first name, surname, username or similar identifier, date of birth and gender.
• Contact Data: includes email address, city and telephone numbers.
• Education Data: includes level of education, foreign language proficiency, additional qualifications, computer skills, professional skills, etc.
• Employment Data: includes work experience, professional field, duration and reason for unemployment, employment status, position and duration of managerial responsibility, as well as the form, size, industry and sector of the business.
• Health Data: includes data provided by you, if you so choose, for specific research purposes and specialized services (e.g. whether you belong to a vulnerable group).
• Survey Data: includes your answers and evaluations, in addition to the above, arising from your participation in surveys.
• Technical Data: includes Internet Protocol (IP) address, login details, browser type and version, time zone and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this Website.
• Profile Data: includes your username and password, preferences, comments and survey responses.
• Usage Data: includes information about how you use the Platform and our services.
• Communications Data: includes your preferences regarding receiving updates from us and third parties, as well as your communication preferences with us.

5. Third-Party Websites

The Platform interacts with external entities, such as the Information System of the National Mechanism for the Diagnosis of Labour Market Needs (EIEAD), ELSTAT, Chambers with a geographical focus on Western Athens, etc., and includes links to such entities and third parties with which it interacts.

When you activate these links, you may grant third parties the right to collect data about you. In such cases, we do not control third-party websites or information systems, nor are we responsible for their data protection policies. We encourage you to review such policies before using third-party websites.

6. Cookies or Other Similar Technologies

The Platform uses “cookies” technologies to distinguish you from other visitors, record your IP address and monitor how you use our services. This information is used to help us provide you with better services by improving the design of the Platform, as well as our services and information activities.
